May 29, 2024. “Kaitlyn” 🎂
A past colleague (a mentor and friend) from my 3rd co-op (in 2020) named his baby after me based on my work ethic and personality. I was so honoured and humbled. Awe.
May 11-17, 2024. CHI ‘24 Conference 🗺
Got to student volunteer (SV) at my first research conference! It was INCREDIBLE.
Fun side note: A PhD and postdoc from a collaborative lab became my friends. Our flight there was cancelled, then rescheduled for 12 hours later, and included a detour to Saskatoon, SK, CA.
April 6, 2024. Running 👟
Ran along the along the Elmira Reserves and Conservation trail (8 km) with a friend. We got to see the maple tree sap tubing system (see photo on right).
